Pianist Laura Caviani is a musician for all seasons, and she always sparkles during the holidays. Her 1999 holiday release Angels We Haven’t Heard remains a Twin Cities jazz favorite this time of year. Lucia Newell was guest vocalist on that CD, and she joins this party along with Pete Whitman (sax), Tom Lewis (bass) and Phil Hey (drums).

No doubt this show will deliver yuletide surprises aplenty, including an appearance by “Hip Santa” Davis Wilson. The only hang up this cat knows is a Christmas stocking, man. Dig it.
