Guitarist Dean Magraw joins up with Mikkel Romstad (Hammond B-3 organ) and Kenny Horst (drums) for a new way to blow your mind. Metaphors abound when discussing the virtuosity of Magraw, and his layering of musical paintings on the rich, textured canvas of the B-3 is just for starters. Perhaps more appropriately, Magraw’s shaman-like world-music aura settles blissfully atop the soaring, sometimes fluttering, magic carpet ride of the Hammond. Damn good music, too.
