Leigh Kamman, the legendary radio broadcaster whose career spanned more than 65 years of jazz, gets a salute AQ style.  A house band led by pianist Laura Caviani and featuring many invited musical guests will perform, and Leigh will be on hand to share a few memories.  We can’t thank Leigh enough for all he has done for jazz, but a party is a good start.

On September 29^th, 2007 we heard Leigh Kamman’s final broadcast of The Jazz Image on MPR.  Now a year later we gather to celebrate his contribution to the great art form we know as jazz. He informed, inspired and introduced many of us to some of the greatest music in the world.
