Saxophone maestro Pete Whitman gathers nine of his most talented friends for a monthly Thursday performance at the AQ. Their 2002 Artegra release Where's When? received a four-star salute from Downbeat magazine. The all-star cast includes Laura Caviani on piano, the rhythm axis of Gordy Johnson (bass) and Phil Hey (drums), Dave Hagedorn on vibes, and a horn section roll call of Dave Karr, Dave Milne & Pete Whitman (saxes), Steve Wagner & Dave Jensen (trumpets), and Jeff Rinear (trombone).
