California "Jazz Now" Magazine Singer, composer and producer; Diane Witherspoon is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, residing in Los Angeles, CA. She began singing as a child in a Baptist church choir. She attended Saint Olaf College in Minnesota. Internationally performing for 20 years. Diane is 2nd cousin to the late "Blues great" immy Witherspoon, and sister to Shirley Witherspoon, former Duke Ellington vocalist.
