The Jazz Vocalists of Minnesota CD Release Party celebrating Vocalage, a recording featuring thirteen JzVMn vocalists. Each contributed one track, resulting in a compilation of Who’s Who in Twin Cities vocal jazz. Featured vocalists include Bruce Henry, Lucia Newell, Vicky Mountain, Sue Tucker, Arne Fogel, Maud Hixson, Christine Rosholt, Lila Ammons, Dorothy Doring, Rhonda Laurie, Connie Dusseau, Connie Olson and Katie Gearty. For this event, vocalists will present individual songs as well as some group performance. CDs will be for sale ($10) during the evening. The proceeds of the CD go to the organization.
