An Artists' Quarter favorite, Carole Martin was an adored nightclub chanteuse in the 1960s before taking an extended sabbatical from the stage. She came back in style, releasing two outstanding CDs since 2004. Her pure alto voice and emotional mastery of torch songs reaches deep into the psyche.
