Where is the Arists' Quarter?
Wednesday, 12 May 2004

We're located in the Historic Hamm Building in Downtown St. Paul.

We are at the corner of St. Peter Street and the 7th Place Pedestrian Mall. We're in the same building as Great Waters Brewing Company and the Park Square Theatre. Enter on the pedestrian mall side. Our entrance is between the Park Square Theatre and Great Waters. After entering the building, head downstairs (or take the elevator).

Our address is:
408 St Peter Street
St. Paul, MN 55102
(651) 292-1359

How to get there from the west metro:
Take I-94 east to the 10th Street exit.
Take 10th street to St. Peter Street (just past the hospital).
Turn right on St. Peter Street. We're a few blocks down on the left, one block past Mickey's Diner.

How to get there from the east metro:
Take I-94 west to 6th Street.
Turn right on Wall Street.
Turn left on 7th Street.
Turn left onto St. Peter Street (at Mickey's Diner). We're one block down on the left, look for Great Waters and Wild Tymes.

How to get there from the south metro:
Take I-35E north to 11th Street.
Turn right on St. Peter Street. We're a few blocks down on the left, one block past Mickey's Diner.

How to get there from the north metro:
Take I-35E south to 10th Street.
Turn left onto Jackson Street.
Turn right onto 7th Street.
Turn left onto St. Peter Street (at Mickey's Diner). We're one block down on the left, look for Great Waters and Wild Tymes.

MapQuest
Click here to view our location using MapQuest. Note that the MapQuest star is on the south corner of the building, and we're actually on the northwest corner. (See the yellow star in the map on this page.)

Where to park:
On street parking can be tough to find, especially with hockey season upon us once again.

Be aware of snow emergencies. A snow emergency is when street parking is severly restricted for a couple of days after a significant snowfall. When in doubt, check St. Paul's web site for info, or park in a ramp.

There is a convenient surface (pay) parking lot on the same block at the Artists' Quarter. Circle around the block by heading east on St. Peter to 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street, then left again on Wabasha. The surface lot is across the street from Marshall Field's. This is on the same block as the club, simply walk around the Walgreen's and Shinder's down the pedestrian mall. The lot has a pay machine, and the cost is usually $3, higher during special events (hockey, etc.). The machine takes credit cards.

Parking ramps abound in the area. The Lawson Ramp (in the building where Kincaid's is located) is one of the most convenient. Go past the club on St. Peter Street to 5th Street, turn left on 5th Street, and the ramp entrance is on the left. When leaving the building, ask the guard for directions to the club if you're turned around.

Lost? Call us at (651) 292-1359 and we'll guide you in.
